Please see Harvard's Six Reading Habits for "Thinking-Intensively" Reading for more information about how to be a GREAT reader!

Please use these as a reference only. Do not copy the material for use of your own project. I send these out every year and I am more than aware of the content, but could repeat it in my sleep. Also consider these examples are examples of how it should look, but do not necessarily reflect if the scholar scored well. Projects are graded specifically to the rubric. Your content should be specific and original. To score well, I DO recommend you consider using higher level questions for the question and answer section. Meaning, not "What" or "Who" questions. DO spell check and edit the grammar in your writing. DO, PLEASE, make sure ALL responses are in COMPLETE SENTENCES. DO provide a Key that is Color Coded according to the rubric. Make sure it is neat and readable! DO be original and creative with your images! DO NOT use paper bigger than a regular 8X11 sheet of paper, please! (No, you do not get more room than that sheet - plan accordingly!) Remember, thoughtfulness goes a long way and this is going to be a first-impression of you as a student! Be timely, be diligent! Ask me if you have questions BEFORE it is due! Good luck scholars!
